Block

Transaction data for bitcoin exchanges are kept in Blocks and permanently recorded, similar to a page in a ledger book. Through the efforts of miners, these transactions are organized into blocks of a linear sequence over time, effectively creating the Blockchain that cannot be altered or edited thereafter.
