Blockchain

Blockchain is a continuously growing list of records that is built on top of itself. This ledger is encrypted using methods that link the blocks to one another, as well as timestamps that record when the blocks were completed. If the ledger is distributed, it is typically managed by a peer-to-peer decentralized network to prevent any sort of malicious manipulation of the ledger.
