Cryptography

Put simply, Cryptography is the study of hiding information. Code is not the correct way to describe Cryptography, but it more closely resembles a science to keep information hidden and secret. Using methods from mathematics, computer science and electrical engineering, Cryptography changes text into a code, or “Cipher”. Someone who receives the encrypted code would need the secret to decrypt the code back to its original text.
