DDoS

DDos stands for Distributed Denial of Service. This is a type of Denial of Service attached that can affect multiple systems at once. DoS attacks a single computer/connection, while DDos can attack multiple systems and connections. Incoming traffic comes from multple sources, often thousands of different IP addresses so it’s difficult to shut them all down, let alone identify the malicious site visitors from normal visitors.
