Segwit2X

Segwit2x is also known as the “New York Agreement.” This was a proposal to solve the Bitcoin scaling issues in which it was a compromise between two schools of thought both hoping to speed up transaction time: one that wanted to increase the size of the blocks to include more transactions and the other that preferred to incorporate SegWit protocol (removing unnecessary Block data).
